Photography

Photography has been a hobby of mine since I was a teenager when my uncle began showing me the ropes of his camera. At that point I was learning on a regular film, SLR camera which was given to me on one of my birthdays. I was fascinated with the world around me and how I could give a perspective on something which may get overlooked. I loved learning about shadows and shot composition. I also began to really enjoy shooting in black and white. For me there is a special tone, an almost cellular feeling which comes from looking at a black and white image. Some may be not as interested in black and white, or feel it’s lacking. But for me, there is a lot of complexity in black and white photography. From all the tones one can get from shadows and light, to the contrast which impacts us when we view them.
